Position Overview:
This position will coordinate Shipping and Receiving activities to establish, implement and sustain the highest quality product and service for our customers.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Examines incoming shipments and rejects damaged items compares with shipping documents.
Compares the outgoing shipments with the order to verify information.
Generates and applies shipping labels on packed items.
Pull items from warehouse stock and puts on pallets
Stocks materials in the warehouse for stock
Operates forklift in the loading, unloading and stocking of materials
Effectively responds to questions from team members and management.
Assists in the performance of internal/external audits.
Assists workers in resolving problems.
Demonstrate professional conduct and be quality driven with an attention to detail.
Use computers and computer systems to process information.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Performing work as assigned by manager
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
2-5 years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment
Keeping up to date technically and the ability to apply new knowledge.
Forklift certification
