Position Overview:
Assists with implementing processes and maintaining processes to assure the highest quality products and service for our customers. Performs start ups, troubleshoot process issues, Die Changes and Maintenance on Blow Molding machine. Check and document process on all assigned machines.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Must posses the ability to Monitor and adjust all blow molding machines.
Must be able to startup, and shut down blow molding machines, as well as blenders, chillers, towers, and other related auxiliary equipment.
Responsible for the monitoring of regrind material and adjusting the blenders/machines to prevent the accumulation of regrind.
Responsible for monitoring the process parameters and keeping them within specifications.
Participate in new mold trials and product validation to assist with the development of new products and new process parameters.
Conduct process audits on each process and record findings.
Ability to change molds and head tooling on blow molding machines and assist maintenance with minor repairs.
Any other assignments assigned by the Technical Manager or shift supervisor.
Prefer experience in continuous extrusion blow molding, but experience in blow molding in general would be a plus.

2 Year Technical Degree or equivalent experience
5 years of broad technical experience in manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical and trouble shooting skills preferred.
Keeping up to date technically and the ability to apply new Knowledge.

The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; the employee is occasionally exposed to hot and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to loud noise levels when in the production area.
